Carden Photography donated $100 to Project Graduation at Tullahoma High School today.
The money was raised last month from the second annual Prom Portraits at the Harton House. Students and parents who have not yet purchased prints can still do so on my Client Galleries web site.
The check was presented this afternoon to Evelyn Curlee, fundraising chair for the THS Project Graduation. I’m happy to support our THS graduates and Project Graduation. They’re a wonderful group and it’s great to help provide a safe celebration for them.
Project Graduation is a nationally known effort to provide a safe environment or graduating seniors. The event will take place following graduation ceremonies at THS on May 27 and features games, food, music, fellowship and lots of door prizes.
I had the honor of joining Beth and Charlie’s guests for their intimate wedding at home overlooking Tims Ford Lake between Tullahoma and Lynchburg in Moore County, Tennessee. It was a wonderful celebration and a great gathering of friends and family. Here are a few of my favorite images.
Ten beautiful and talented young ladies recently dropped by my studio in the Harton House as part of their preparations for the 2011 Cumberland Valley’s Junior Miss. The final competition will be this Saturday evening in the new auditorium at Tullahoma High School. In fact, this will be the first event in the newly renovated auditorium. Come on out.
Meanwhile, here are the contestants.
It’s time to get ready for Prom Portraits at the Historic Harton House (300 S Jackson St).
The first year for Prom Portraits at the Historic Harton House was a success. 2010 looks to be even better. This year a portion of all sales will benefit Project Graduation!
A limited number of sessions are available from 1pm to 7pm on April 24 and going fast.

Happy first anniversary to Erica and Danny!

The mid-winter ad for the THS Echo, the student newspaper at Tullahoma High School, is here. It’s great to be showing these students that they can have great images that really capture who they are.

My new ad came out today in the THS Echo … the student newspaper at Tullahoma High School. It is hard to get color exactly right in newsprint, so here’s a web sized version of the original.

Definition of a Veteran:
A veteran – whether active duty, reserve, national guard or retired – is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America”, for an amount of “up to and including my life.” – That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

I believe this image was taken by SFC Nate Crawford, TN ARNG. I’m the one carrying the regimental colors.
Xenia wanted some of her senior portraits done with a grand piano… here’s one of the close-ups.
