One tradition in our home is Saturday morning pancakes. For something like a dozen years, my wife has received breakfast in bed on most Saturdays. A couple of years ago our daughter started joining in on the fun of helping make pancakes. So this week’s pic is in honor of our pancake tradition.

Today is a sad day for the Damron’s, their employees, customers and friends. A fire started in their Tullahoma restaurant around 4pm. Firefighters from Tullahoma, Manchester and AEDC responded to the blaze within minutes, but were unable to contain the blaze. The brick building is a total loss.

Megan and Daniel celebrated their marriage with their families last weekend in All Saints’ Chapel on the campus of The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Of course we had to stop by the War Memorial Cross in the snow.

This was part of a Christmas present for their parents. The challenge was to find a way to show three different people being themselves at the same time. I’m told this one did.

Melia and Adam Davis had a beautiful wedding on New Years Day… making their anniversary date 1/1/11! The wedding was at Marble Plains Baptist Church just outside of Tims Ford State Park near Winchester, Tennessee. Melia and her bridesmaids traveled from her parents’ home to the church in a horse-drawn carriage. After the wedding, she and Adam rode the carriage back for the reception. Despite the cold and morning drizzle, it was a great day for their wedding! Click on the image below to see a slide show.
