Monica’s Shoes has been on display for several months at the Celtic Cup Coffee House in Tullahoma. In a couple of days I will place a stack of cards below this image. Each card will contain a coupon worth a free pack of 24 custom Christmas cards!
The rules are very simple:
- Purchase, at regular portrait pricing, two (2) of any size gift portrait (8×12 or smaller) or one (1) wall portrait (11×14 or larger) and I will add a free pack of 24 Christmas cards.
- You must have purchased a print of the image on the custom Christmas card.
- You must present the card with the coupon when placing your print order.
- Offer applies only to portrait images that I have created or will create before December 1, 2009.
- Offer does not apply to art, event or photojournalism images.
- Limit one per family.
There is still plenty of time to book a portrait session so you can take advantage of this offer in 2009. Existing clients may purchase two gift portraits or one wall portrait of any image I previously created.
Considering the amount of rainy days we have had in the past couple of weeks, I thought it would be appropriate for this week’s pic to be the rainbow over the new Tullahoma High School stadium. This was captured on Thursday afternoon (9/24/09).

The debut of the new Tullahoma High School football stadium was last night. The crowd was great, the home team won … and the pictures are… on hold. Images are now up in the THS 2009 Football client gallery .

My guess is images will be up sometime late Wednesday in the client galleries and on Facebook.
The first game at the new Tullahoma High School stadium is tonight. This week’s pic is from the first senior shoot there.

The new football stadium at Tullahoma High School is undergoing last minute preparations for tomorrow’s opening. I was out there shooting a senior tonight and took this one before heading home.

One tiny hint for anyone planning to attend the game tomorrow night … or even anytime before the road is finished… wear your old shoes!
One of the really fun things about creating images on location is finding all sorts of really cool and different spots to shoot. Sometimes it’s obvious how to place and pose a subject in a certain spot. Sometimes it’s not. It’s not uncommon for me to jump in and demonstrate.
Recently I was shooting on a farm and wanted to use a great looking hay barn. So to demonstrate just how I was envisioning the image, I climbed up and took the pose. Amanda, my assistant for the day, took a shot.

Then Rosalyn made it look good.

I recently had the pleasure of playing a round of golf with Barry and Noah at Old Stone Fort State Park in Manchester, Tennessee. Fathers are one of my favorite subjects.

My September special: Book your family portrait in September and receive 25% off Christmas cards. We don’t have to shoot in September, just book the session and prepay the creation fee to receive the discount.

I got to shoot the first half of the Tullahoma High School Wildcats football game at Columbia. Images will be in The Saturday Independent later today. Click on the image for a quick slideshows of some highlights. Are you in one of these images? Tag yourself on Facebook!

This week we take a walk in the woods with Forrester Wall, a senior at Franklin County High School.
