Pic of the Week – 20081227
Last year we were living in Madison, WI where winter hits quite hard and lasts at least a month into spring. This shot was taken out our front door a couple of years ago.
It’s so good to be home in Tennessee.

Sunday night was the annual White Christmas service at FBC Tullahoma. I remember this being a wonderful time with family to begin celebrating the birth of Christ and sharing with others. Since this is my first Christmas back home, it was great to see that this tradition is still there. The service featured a musical by the 1st-3rd grade choirs. Joy to the Mall is an American parody of Luke 2 written by Chris Dolson when he was the pastor of Shreveport Bible Church. Chris is now the pastor of Blackhawk Church in Madison, WI … the church Cheri and I called home while we lived there.
Last year I had the honor of helping create a visual representation of this parody. The video was edited by Melissa Dolson (Chris’ daughter). I’m not sure who narrated it. The cast are various members of Blackhawk Church.
Congrats to Catherine Murray for winning a spot as the opening act for an upcoming United Way Hal Ketchum benefit concert.
You might recognize Catherine from her business in Tullahoma, McMurr’s.
If it’s raining and you have a deadline focused photo shoot, a barn makes for a darned nice location. Congratulations to Bella Paul for her pageant win!
